Today Katie and I purchased a house! We won't be moving in for another two months, but that's okay.  We are both thrilled, the new house will have gorgeous cherry finished cabinets, fancy new GE appliances, huge closets, spacious bathrooms, and an unfinished basement.  Can you say game room! We got an awesome price, at least when compared to the rest of these towns.  The new home is located across the street from the community rec center, the high school, and it has amazing views of the Green River valley.  After having lived in rental units in which you can hear everything our neighbors do, it will be a great change to have our own place.  While we are sharing walls with our neighbors, the walls are double thick, insulated, and more, so you don't hear your neighbor.  We are extremely excited to move, but we have to wait for the home to be finished, and then we have to wait for our current lease to be up.  So until June 1, we are still in Rock Springs, in our rental.  We will have a few projects on the place even though it is new, but since I don't like paying more for something I can do myself, we opted to save money now, and put the time and money into the home later.  Call, swing by, we'll be excited to show it off.
